Diving into the 2022 Waterpark Season

The fun opportunities are endless when it comes to spring and summertime at Daytona Lagoon. Take a break from the plain ‘old beach and come visit your favorite Waterpark and Fun Park in Daytona Beach. With everyone excited about the world returning to normal, we’re aiming to make this year our best yet! We’ve put together our best advice on how to make the most out of your visit to Daytona Lagoon, so read on below:

Caution:  Splash Zone

Our Waterpark is the perfect place to cool off this summer, with options for the whole family. Treasure Lagoon rotates between a mild wave pool and a standard wading pool every 10 minutes, so enjoy swimming around, jumping waves, or feeling the swells from your tube! Toddlers and young children can splash around the kid-friendly water oasis, Castaway. It’s the perfect shallow-water playground for your little ones. For the brave at heart, there are more thrilling options like shredding on the Shaka Halfpipe, twisting through Blackbeard’s Revenge, or racing down Kraken’s Revenge to the very bottom.

Chill-Out

Whether this is your go-to water attraction all day, or if you pop in when you need an adrenaline break, Pelican’s Drift is something you don’t want to miss. This lazy river is the perfect place to unwind, relax in the gentle currents, and soak in the sun while enjoying the refreshing water from your float tube. If you find that your fingers and toes are turning pruney, chill out in one of our cabanas that you can rent for the family. Up to 12 people can enjoy the shade, depending on which size you choose, and take advantage of the lounge chairs and fans to help you cool off.

Improvise As You Go

Florida is known for its unpredictable weather. Despite being dubbed “The Sunshine State,” we sure do get a lot of rain. Whether it’s for the short period of a rain shower or if the skies end up being gray for the rest of the day, we’ve got you covered – literally! Daytona Lagoon can be your one-stop destination for fun - rain or shine! Our Fun Park has options to keep you safe while you dry off and wait for the rain to pass. Check out the Mega Arcade, Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, and the Sky Maze Ropes Course!

Daytona Lagoon wants you to have the best spring and summer experience possible, so we invite you to bring your whole family. We guarantee everyone will find something that suits their summer plans, from having a pool-side snack and enjoying some frozen cocktails, to spending quality time with the family. Believe us, we are the thing to do in Daytona Beach, no search required. There’s still time to save $15 on a 2022 Season Pass if you purchase by Memorial Day. See everything that a Season Pass includes and buy your tickets in advance here. We’ll see you soon!
