Splashing into the 2020 Waterpark Season

Each year when the weather warms up, everyone starts thinking of the summer activities ahead. Backyard barbecues, feet in the sand, dripping ice cream cones, and of course… trips to the Daytona Lagoon Waterpark! Daytona Beach’s Premier Waterpark will be open daily from March 13th – 22nd and we can’t wait to make this the greatest year yet. Read on to learn about the best ways to have fun in the sun this season at Daytona Lagoon.

Make a splash

Daytona Lagoon offers Waterpark attractions the whole family can enjoy. If you have little ones in tow, take them to swim and splash in the Treasure Lagoon or let them explore in Castaway, the kid-friendly water oasis. For those looking for a rush, Daytona Lagoon has multiple thrilling slides for you to choose from.  Twist and turn down Poseidon’s Pass, plunge down with a friend on Adventure Mountain, grab a mat and race down Kraken’s Revenge, hang loose on the Shaka Halfpipe or slide through slippery twists on Blackbeard’s Revenge.

Time to relax

While the Waterpark has many exhilarating attractions, it also provides ways to sit back and relax. Pelican’s Drift is Daytona Lagoon’s lazy river that flows throughout the Waterpark.  Unwind as you float around the river by yourself or with family and friends. If you’re ready to take a break from the water and soak up the sun, sundeck, lounge chairs, and cabanas are all available for your visit. You and your family can reserve cabanas in advance online or request one upon entry.

Grab a bite

Every fun-filled day requires good food and drinks to keep you fueled for the adventures ahead. Daytona Lagoon’s Waterpark provides multiple quality family dining options that offer full meals, sweet treats, or refreshing adult beverages. Head to the Wave Grill to dine with the family and enjoy sandwiches, chicken tenders, burgers, pizza, and more. Craving something sweet? The Castaway Outpost has you covered with ICEE drinks and ice cream novelties.  Adult guests can enjoy their favorite frozen or mixed alcoholic beverages at Goonie Cove.

Daytona Lagoon is the place for fun this season, providing activities for everyone to enjoy. With Spring Break right around the corner, it’s time to plan things to do with your family and friends!
